CAJON CLASSES

In our flamenco cajón classes you will develop a solid foundation of technique (strokes, accents, dynamic control and study resources) while exploring a wide variety of rhythmic styles: funk, rock, samba and other contemporary patterns, in addition to flamenco rhythms —the palos— such as rumba, bulería, tanguillos or sevillanas.

We will work with the cajón as a multi-rhythmic instrument , delving into:

• Fundamental technique and applied technique.

• Rhythmic language of flamenco and understanding of its rhythms.

• Patterns and grooves from different musical styles.

• Improvisation tools to develop your personal expression.

• Cultural aspects of flamenco and its evolution in the world of percussion.

The classes offer a friendly and fun environment where you can learn, improve and share music with people who share the same interests.

In addition, throughout the year you can participate in various school activities: dress rehearsals, weekend outings, internal festivals and immersive trips to places like Senegal and Brazil, designed to delve deeper into the culture and rhythms that inspire us.
